Embedded Software Engineer

Primary responsibilities:
  • Design and develop firmware / software for new embedded products
  • Debug and maintain existing software/firmware
  • Develop code in C and some Assembly programming languages
  • Design new control algorithm and communication interfaces
  • Work with hardware engineers in selecting hardware components for circuit design
  • Test firmware on hardware platform
  • Design new software modules and develops supporting documentation
  • Maintain code in repository using tools like Git, and Eclipse
  • Participate in daily scrum am standup (AGILE)
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • B.S Degree or higher or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in embedded firmware design using the “C” language
  • Experience with 8, 16, and 32-bit microcontrollers is preferred
  • Experience with software compilers and debugging tools
  • Familiarity with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) highly desired

Sales Executive - Contractor and National Accounts

As a key member of our national account sales team, the successful candidate will have responsibility for all aspects of selling enterprise class hardware and cloud-based energy management solutions to large companies and regional contractors.

Key requirements:
  • High energy and highly motivated sales professional, driven to close opportunities.
  • Experience with competitive marketing and pricing dynamics a plus.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with basic desktop productivity applications.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software technologies and similar services.
  • Ability to learn new technology processes and terminology.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, requiring individual initiative and decision-making, as well as constant juggling of priorities.
  • 5+ years experience in high tech enterprise software sales, product marketing or related field.
  • B.A. / B.S. from a 4-year institution or equivalent experience.
